Psalms 47

¹Oh clap your hands, all you nations. Shout to God with the voice of triumph!

¹לַ/מְנַצֵּ֬חַnaw-tsakh'לִ/בְנֵיbaneקֹ֬רַחko'rakhמִזְמֽוֹרmiz-more'

²For Yahweh Most High is awesome. He is a great King over all the earth.

²כָּֽלkoleהָ֭/עַמִּיםamתִּקְעוּtaw-kah'כָ֑ףkafהָרִ֥יעוּroo-ah'לֵ֝/אלֹהִ֗יםel-o-heem'בְּ/ק֣וֹלkoleרִנָּֽהrin-naw'

³He subdues nations under us, and peoples under our feet.

³כִּֽיkeeיְהוָ֣הyeh-ho-vaw'עֶלְי֣וֹןel-yone'נוֹרָ֑אyaw-ray'מֶ֥לֶךְmeh'-lekגָּ֝דוֹלgaw-dole'עַלalכָּלkoleהָ/אָֽרֶץeh'-rets

⁴He chooses our inheritance for us, the glory of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

⁴יַדְבֵּ֣רdaw-bar'עַמִּ֣יםamתַּחְתֵּ֑י/נוּtakh'-athוּ֝/לְאֻמִּ֗יםleh-ome'תַּ֣חַתtakh'-athרַגְלֵֽי/נוּreh'-gel

⁵God has gone up with a shout, Yahweh with the sound of a trumpet.

⁵יִבְחַרbaw-khar'לָ֥/נוּlnwאֶתaythנַחֲלָתֵ֑/נוּnakh-al-aw'אֶ֥תaythגְּא֨וֹןgaw-ohn'יַעֲקֹ֖בyah-ak-obe'אֲשֶׁרash-er'אָהֵ֣בaw-hab'סֶֽלָהseh'-law

⁶Sing praises to God, sing praises. Sing praises to our King, sing praises.

⁶עָלָ֣הaw-law'אֱ֭לֹהִיםel-o-heem'בִּ/תְרוּעָ֑הter-oo-aw'יְ֝הֹוָ֗הyeh-ho-vaw'בְּ/ק֣וֹלkoleשׁוֹפָֽרsho-far'

⁷For God is the King of all the earth. Sing praises with understanding.

⁷זַמְּר֣וּzaw-mar'אֱלֹהִ֣יםel-o-heem'זַמֵּ֑רוּzaw-mar'זַמְּר֖וּzaw-mar'לְ/מַלְכֵּ֣/נוּmeh'-lekזַמֵּֽרוּzaw-mar'

⁸God reigns over the nations. God sits on his holy throne.

⁸כִּ֤יkeeמֶ֖לֶךְmeh'-lekכָּלkoleהָ/אָ֥רֶץeh'-retsאֱלֹהִ֗יםel-o-heem'זַמְּר֥וּzaw-mar'מַשְׂכִּֽילsaw-kal'

⁹The princes of the peoples are gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God. He is greatly exalted!

⁹מָלַ֣ךְmaw-lak'אֱ֭לֹהִיםel-o-heem'עַלalגּוֹיִ֑םgo'-eeאֱ֝לֹהִ֗יםel-o-heem'יָשַׁ֤בyaw-shab'עַלalכִּסֵּ֬אkis-say'קָדְשֽׁ/וֹko'-desh
