What I carry

What I Carry

Men ask me what I actually use, the Bible I carry, the gear I wear. So here it is. Nothing on this page is a paid pitch. These are just the things I genuinely use, trust, and stand behind, and if they serve you too, good.

The Bible I Carry

This is my daily Bible, and I love it. It's an NASB, which is my favorite translation, the one I trust most to get me as close to what the text actually says as I can get.

Chapter House Leather bound it in a simple, classic full-grain leather cover, coffee brown, nothing flashy, just the kind of thing that ages well and takes a lifetime of use. I carry a large-print copy, which is perfect for actually reading without straining your eyes, and somehow they kept it the right size to go with me everywhere.

If you're after one Bible to carry for years, this is the one I'd point you to.

The Shirts I Wear

I only wear two kinds of shirts: Reformed Sage, or custom ones that point to Christ. Reformed Sage makes shirts with messages that are direct and unapologetically Christian, the kind that start a conversation whether the other guy was looking for one or not.

The quality is genuinely good, they hold up, and the company is openly Christian and veteran owned, which matters to me. When a man asks about my shirt, that's an open door, and that's the whole point.

If you want to wear your faith where people can actually read it, these are the ones I wear.
