Psalms 136

¹Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good; for his loving kindness endures forever.

¹הוֹד֣וּyaw-daw'לַ/יהוָ֣הyeh-ho-vaw'כִּיkeeט֑וֹבtobeכִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

²Give thanks to the God of gods; for his loving kindness endures forever.

²ה֭וֹדוּyaw-daw'לֵֽ/אלֹהֵ֣יel-o-heem'הָ/אֱלֹהִ֑יםel-o-heem'כִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

³Give thanks to the Lord of lords; for his loving kindness endures forever:

³ה֭וֹדוּyaw-daw'לַ/אֲדֹנֵ֣יaw-done'הָ/אֲדֹנִ֑יםaw-done'כִּ֖יkeeלְ/עֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

⁴To him who alone does great wonders; for his loving kindness endures forever:

⁴לְ/עֹ֘שֵׂ֤הaw-saw'נִפְלָא֣וֹתpaw-law'גְּדֹל֣וֹתgaw-dole'לְ/בַדּ֑/וֹbadכִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

⁵To him who by understanding made the heavens; for his loving kindness endures forever:

⁵לְ/עֹשֵׂ֣הaw-saw'הַ֭/שָּׁמַיִםshaw-mah'-yimבִּ/תְבוּנָ֑הtaw-boon'כִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

⁶To him who spread out the earth above the waters; for his loving kindness endures forever:

⁶לְ/רֹקַ֣עraw-kah'הָ֭/אָרֶץeh'-retsעַלalהַ/מָּ֑יִםmah'-yimכִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

⁷To him who made the great lights; for his loving kindness endures forever:

⁷לְ֭/עֹשֵׂהaw-saw'אוֹרִ֣יםoreגְּדֹלִ֑יםgaw-dole'כִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

⁸The sun to rule by day; for his loving kindness endures forever;

⁸אֶתaythהַ֭/שֶּׁמֶשׁsheh'-meshלְ/מֶמְשֶׁ֣לֶתmem-shaw-law'בַּ/יּ֑וֹםyomeכִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

⁹The moon and stars to rule by night; for his loving kindness endures forever:

⁹אֶתaythהַ/יָּרֵ֣חַyaw-ray'-akhוְ֭/כוֹכָבִיםko-kawb'לְ/מֶמְשְׁל֣וֹתmem-shaw-law'בַּ/לָּ֑יְלָהlah'-yilכִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

¹⁰To him who struck down the Egyptian firstborn; for his loving kindness endures forever;

¹⁰לְ/מַכֵּ֣הnaw-kaw'מִ֭צְרַיִםmits-rah'-yimבִּ/בְכוֹרֵי/הֶ֑םbek-ore'כִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

¹¹And brought out Israel from among them; for his loving kindness endures forever;

¹¹וַ/יּוֹצֵ֣אyaw-tsaw'יִ֭שְׂרָאֵלyis-raw-ale'מִ/תּוֹכָ֑/םtaw'-vekכִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

¹²With a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm; for his loving kindness endures forever:

¹²בְּ/יָ֣דyawdחֲ֭זָקָהkhaw-zawk'וּ/בִ/זְר֣וֹעַzer-o'-ahנְטוּיָ֑הnaw-taw'כִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

¹³To him who divided the Red Sea apart; for his loving kindness endures forever;

¹³לְ/גֹזֵ֣רgaw-zar'יַםyawmס֭וּףsoofלִ/גְזָרִ֑יםgheh'-zerכִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

¹⁴And made Israel to pass through the middle of it; for his loving kindness endures forever;

¹⁴וְ/הֶעֱבִ֣ירaw-bar'יִשְׂרָאֵ֣לyis-raw-ale'בְּ/תוֹכ֑/וֹtaw'-vekכִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

¹⁵But overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea; for his loving kindness endures forever:

¹⁵וְ/נִ֘עֵ֤רnaw-ar'פַּרְעֹ֣הpar-o'וְ/חֵיל֣/וֹkhah'-yilבְ/יַםyawmס֑וּףsoofכִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

¹⁶To him who led his people through the wilderness; for his loving kindness endures forever:

¹⁶לְ/מוֹלִ֣יךְyaw-lak'עַ֭מּ/וֹamבַּ/מִּדְבָּ֑רmid-bawr'כִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

¹⁷To him who struck great kings; for his loving kindness endures forever;

¹⁷לְ֭/מַכֵּהnaw-kaw'מְלָכִ֣יםmeh'-lekגְּדֹלִ֑יםgaw-dole'כִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

¹⁸And killed mighty kings; for his loving kindness endures forever:

¹⁸וַֽ֭/יַּהֲרֹגhaw-rag'מְלָכִ֣יםmeh'-lekאַדִּירִ֑יםad-deer'כִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

¹⁹Sihon king of the Amorites; for his loving kindness endures forever;

¹⁹לְ֭/סִיחוֹןsee-khone'מֶ֣לֶךְmeh'-lekהָ/אֱמֹרִ֑יem-o-ree'כִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

²⁰Og king of Bashan; for his loving kindness endures forever;

²⁰וּ֭/לְ/עוֹגogueמֶ֣לֶךְmeh'-lekהַ/בָּשָׁ֑ןbaw-shawn'כִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

²¹And gave their land as an inheritance; for his loving kindness endures forever;

²¹וְ/נָתַ֣ןnaw-than'אַרְצָ֣/םeh'-retsלְ/נַחֲלָ֑הnakh-al-aw'כִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

²²Even a heritage to Israel his servant; for his loving kindness endures forever:

²²נַ֭חֲלָהnakh-al-aw'לְ/יִשְׂרָאֵ֣לyis-raw-ale'עַבְדּ֑/וֹeh'-bedכִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

²³Who remembered us in our low estate; for his loving kindness endures forever;

²³שֶׁ֭/בְּ/שִׁפְלֵ/נוּshay'-felזָ֣כַרzaw-kar'לָ֑/נוּlnwכִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

²⁴And has delivered us from our adversaries; for his loving kindness endures forever:

²⁴וַ/יִּפְרְקֵ֥/נוּpaw-rak'מִ/צָּרֵ֑י/נוּtsarכִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

²⁵Who gives food to every creature; for his loving kindness endures forever.

²⁵נֹתֵ֣ןnaw-than'לֶ֭חֶםlekh'-emלְ/כָלkoleבָּשָׂ֑רbaw-sawr'כִּ֖יkeeלְ/עוֹלָ֣םo-lawm'חַסְדּֽ/וֹkheh'-sed

²⁶Oh give thanks to the God of heaven; for his loving kindness endures forever.
