Book Three is about the handoff: taking what God did in you on your knees and walking it out where the people who depend on you can see it. Family prayer that isn’t a performance. Repentance out loud, to the people you actually wronged. Standing at the front of your house instead of hiding at the back of it.
This is the book about being followed, and being worth following.
Why I Wrote It
I was praying in private and coasting in public, and I told myself that was humility. It wasn’t. It was cowardice with a nice name on it.
My family didn’t need a man with a secret prayer life. They needed a man who would go first.
Learning to go first is what this book is about. I’m still learning it.
